It's fun for us when David's called on by the press.  

Recently, you may have heard him on Marketplace, from American Public Media. Helen Palmer called and talked with David for about 10 minutes and recorded a 3-minute clip. But of course only about 30 seconds of that made it on the radio.  The story was on avian flu, and the comment David made that was clipped for the 10/14 show was "My biggest concern is that if the disease gets to America the government will be destroying poultry flocks willy-nilly."  Contact us if you heard David. Earlier this year, the local Florence Morning News paper wrote up a story on David. The online posting even includes audio files so you can hear the sounds of the farm.  Read all about it by visiting their web site.

Several people who read the story have asked about our dog Cotten.  Here's a picture of the old girl!  She's close to nine years old now, but still warding off predators from the chickens.
